Bloody well should be, £700 for the lot (1000 euro) . I did go for the slightly more expensive bike, I tried a cheaper one but after the quality of the good one there was no going back ! And it's the same model as Ben has, so I wasn't going to be the poor relative on the trip ;-)

The people in the shop were very helpful (read patient - anyone who has ever witnessed me make a purchase of even minor importance will know what I mean!) as I hopped back and forth between bikes, trying different handle bars, set-ups etc. Then setting it all up for me.

Just Look at that saddle !! Looks really comfy for a long journey ! NOT! Actually it is alright (he says after spending less than 10 minutes in it!). I'm told a bigger padded saddle will chafe more (ooh err) but maybe that's said by people with slightly less generous derriere's than mine !!
