End of Day 7: Kritianstad to Karlsham : 50 miles (366 Total)

We set off rather late about 12 noon after a leisurely morning, all feeling a little bit like we had a beer or threee last night. Not much to report about the journey, a bit longer than expected, but we did take the scenic route along the coast whenever possible, much better than the main roads!

We stopped for lunch around 3 o'clock in a nice little harbour town, and were served by a waiter who sounded exactly like Borat. Ben and I found it very difficult not to laugh, especially when he described the Swedish national dish - " balls meat". Highly entertaining.

Quite uneventful end to the day, although we somehow managed to avoid the rain, despite being contanstly surrounded by very dark, looming rain clouds. In fact we seemed to find the gap in these clouds all day, as we had a fair amount of sunshine.

Staying in a really nice youth hostel (ok - don't laugh!) in Karlsham. (we went a bit further than on our original Itinerary, as Murrum is a bit nowhere). It seems empty and we have room to ourselves. Ben's feeling a bit queasy since lunch and has crashed early, I may go and find a nice bar the hostel owner told us about! You guess.... (It was shut! supermarket time for me.)

Paul Maunders

Mate... LOL while reading your blogs. Ben, you haven't changed a bit! Good luck. Og.

@ mr Maunders and Mr Paul, don't worry I've been keeping a rough count of how many rounds I,ve missed out on, so I'll be expecting a table full of beers when I get back ;-)

And Mr Paul, I wouldn't say we are ahead of the game as such, just seem to be doing more miles than expected !!!
